MBI’s Annual Winter Conference is the signature event for Iowa’s commercial construction industry.  The event kicks off with the Annual Membership Meeting on Monday, February 24th and runs through Wednesday, February 26th and brings together every segment of the industry to celebrate what is good about Iowa and commercial construction.

To give you some insight as to what the Annual Winter Conference is all about, I have provided some numbers to give you some perspective:

“1533” – This was the total attendance from the 2019 Annual Winter Conference and we anticipate to set a new attendance record again this year.

“66” – The biggest event of the conference is the Industry Reception and trade show, where you have an opportunity to visit any and all of the 66 vendors who will be available to talk shop and demonstrate their products.

42” – The MBI Annual Winter Conference spans over the better part of three days in which we have squeezed 42 different educational classes.  There is something for everyone.  Check out this year’s line up in the conference brochure.

22” – There is no better way to get your company recognized than the AWC. In fact, 22 companies are sponsors at various levels for this year’s event.

6” – This year there will be six individuals who will be presented the MBI Master Builder Designation Award. These builders – and their employers – are recognized for their commitment to education and continued learning.

5” – You also have an opportunity to hear from five different keynote speakers during the various award programs. There is still time to register to attend these programs in which the speakers will do their best to enlighten and entertain you.

3” – The Masters Award Luncheon is our most popular awards program which celebrates industry excellence. This year, there will be three projects recognized for exceptional team efforts in construction.

1” – The Build Iowa Dinner honors this year’s Build Iowa Award recipient.  During this program we recognize an individual who best exemplifies the tenets of MBI – Skill, Integrity, and Responsibility. There will also be “1” company awarded the “Workforce Recruitment Award” for their efforts in promoting the commercial construction industry over the past year during the Workforce Awards Breakfast on Tuesday, February 25th.

0” – Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. If you don’t attend, you will be missing out on cutting edge presentations from a wide array of different speakers! Likewise, you will also be missing a great opportunity to network with other industry leaders.

If you are wanting to attend this year’s program, please do not hesitate – register today!
