4 Exciting New MBI Training Offerings Scheduled!

Throughout the summer, the MBI staff has been working with facilitators and training agencies around the nation to put together new learning opportunities for our members. Our members deserve our best efforts in developing a top-shelf curriculum each and every year. That’s why in addition to our standard leadership development programs and other regular training, the 2019-20 curriculum offers the following NEW programs:

Target Value Delivery Workshop

October 29, 2019 | West Des Moines, IA

Led by Christian Pikel of The ReAlignment Group in Middleburg, VA, this immersive hands-on workshop experience will guide participants through application of TVD practice in a team-based, fictitious project scenario. Target Value Delivery (TVD) is a disciplined management practice with several phases: business case planning, validation, value delivery, and value post construction. The system is meant to be applied holistically to obtain maximum value and can be enhanced through contractual or behavioral team integration practices.

The EOS® Experience

November 12, 2019 | Des Moines, IA

Featured speaker, Gino Wickman, will preside over a morning workshop that will delve into EOS® and present you and your leadership team with a better understanding of a system that creates company goals, enhances employee engagement, and provides measurements on how to improve your business.

Safety and Environmental Workshop

April 2, 2020 | Sioux City, IA

The breakout style format allows attendees to select the combination of topics  that provides the best value to them. Topics include:

  • Confined Spaces
  • Excavations
  • Electrical
  • Fall Protection
  • Caught In / Struck-by
  • Chemical Hazards
  • Lead Hazards
  • Asbestos Hazards
  • Silica Hazards
  • Respirators / Air Quality

Executive Leadership Retreat

August 26 – 30, 2020 | Denver, CO

Headlined by The Leadership Experience – Executive Coach, David Rabiner, The Executive Leadership Retreat is reserved for those individuals who have met any one of the following criteria:

  • Successfully completed MBI’s The Leadership Experience
  • Has been awarded the Master Builder Achievement Award
  • Be an executive officer or shareholder within your company

 

The entire 2019-20 MBI curriculum is compiled in our Learning Opportunities Planner (LOP) that will arrive soon at MBI member offices as part of the upcoming fall edition of InsideMBI.  The LOP will provide you with all of the information that you need to plan, schedule, and budget your personal development and the development efforts of your team September 2019 through August 2020.
