As a new leader at Master Builders of Iowa, one of my passions is to build people into the leaders they were born to be. This is not done through a position, however through introspection and thorough self-awareness. My hopes in writing posts to this blog are to share topics I am listening to, reading about or watching that hopefully you will find interesting and relevant to your growth as a leader. I have been in the public PreK-12 education industry for the last +20 years and my goal has always been to inspire learning and growth. I hope to continue that here as the Director of Industry Education.

As I reflect on my own personal growth as a leader, I have a hunger that pushes me. Whether it is listening to a variety of podcasts, reading and listening to books or watching videos, I hope to always find insight that pushes my thinking. This is always better to do alongside a thought partner, so consider me your partner.
