2020, man. The hits just keep on coming.
First, it was PAC at the Track. COVID-19 all but assured we wouldn’t be able to meet indoors.
Next, while we thought we were going to be able to get the 21st annual MBI-PAC Construction Golf Classic & Smoker in, Mother Nature had a different idea. We’re just glad that everyone was able to seek shelter in time and no one was injured. While we have discussed rescheduling, the issues with the damage to the golf course, securing a new date on the calendar that works and securing the necessary sponsorships are too large to overcome. We will be back in August 2021 and look forward to you all joining us again.
Let’s talk about something we can look forward to:
The MBI-PAC Sporting Clay Builders’ Classic shoots are right around the corner in September. Assuming the weather is cooperative, we are planning to shoot on Thursday, September 17th at Riverside and Thursday, September 24th in Waukee. You probably have already seen correspondence on the shoots, but please get in touch with me (bhammes@mbi.build) to secure your spot, or to talk over how a sponsorship would be beneficial to you and your organization.
As you know, all of these events are the heart and soul of what make the MBI-PAC so influential. And I can assure you, candidates for office will continue to ask for MBI-PAC funds as they run their campaigns this Fall. It’s imperative that we do what we can to have a strong and healthy PAC, even under the difficult circumstances.
